A Field Guide

About Automate Capture

Automate Capture is a creative-technical research practice. An IP warehouse and personal thinktank. The work here is deep, themed, and interactive—where the presentation is part of the substance, not decoration on top of it.

The method

Most technical work hides behind documentation. We hide it behind metaphors that make it clearer. Distillation becomes a whiskey distillery. Model surgery becomes an auto‑mechanic's garage. Bible semantics become a 3D galaxy.

The metaphor isn't the joke. The metaphor is the user interface for ideas that academic papers leave inert.

How it works

A piece of research starts in the Research division—a paper, a benchmark, a hunch. If it survives scrutiny, it goes to Research Radar, an autonomous pipeline that reproduces papers, runs the tests, and ships validated artifacts. The output is an Exhibit: a fully-realized site with the working code, the metaphor, the data, and an honest evaluation of where it works and where it doesn't.

What you'll find here

  • 01
Research  — peer-reviewable work on memory systems, neural architectures, and computational efficiency (ARMS, HAT, Blades, Sparse Pathways).
  • 02
Labs  — interactive, browser-runnable demonstrations of the research.
  • 03
Exhibits  — finished, themed projects shipped from the Radar pipeline: Distillarium, Hermeneutica, Model Garage, and more.
  • 04
Thoughts  — less formal than papers, more structured than tweets.

What this is not

A consultancy. A SaaS company. A startup pitch. Some exhibits may eventually become products; most won't. The point is the practice. The work pays for itself by being good.

Why

Because the most interesting research in the world is currently locked inside PDFs that nobody clicks.

Because deep technical work deserves better interfaces than monospace fonts and bullet lists.

Because building this way is more fun, and the work is better when it's fun.
